Once Saved Always Saved
~Part 2 of a Series~

Todays message is Part 2 of a series, to explain HOW a person CAN lose their Spiritual Birth. Again, I have also included the Jewish text, so you will see that there are many ways of saying the same thing. And again, I will present the scripture, then the message... Please take the time to read AL of the scriptures, as it also explains many other questions I have been asked. An example is in verse ONE, where it states that Our Heavenly Father is The Gardner. The term GARDNER, is only used TWICE in The Bible. Once here, and the other was when Jesus Christ returned the THIRD DAY. (He appeared as The GARDNER.) Remember the many times He states He and The Father are ONE!

John 15

Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) New International Version (NIV)
"I am the real vine, and my Father is the gardener. 1 "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
Every branch which is part of me but fails to bear fruit, he cuts off; and every branch that does bear fruit, he prunes, so that it may bear more fruit. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
Right now, because of the word which I have spoken to you, you are pruned. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
Stay united with me, as I will with you -- for just as the branch can't put forth fruit by itself apart from the vine, so you can't bear fruit apart from me. 4 Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
"I am the vine and you are the branches. Those who stay united with me, and I with them, are the ones who bear much fruit; because apart from me you can't do a thing. 5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
Unless a person remains united with me, he is thrown away like a branch and dries up. Such branches are gathered and thrown into the fire, where they are burned up. 6 If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
"If you remain united with me, and my words with you, then ask whatever you want, and it will happen for you. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
This is how my Father is glorified -- in your bearing much fruit; this is how you will prove to be my talmidim. 8 This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
"Just as my Father has loved me, I too have loved you; so stay in my love. 9 "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.
If you keep my commands, you will stay in my love -- just as I have kept my Father's commands and stay in his love. 10 If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love.
I have said this to you so that my joy may be in you, and your joy be complete. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.
"This is my command: that you keep on loving each other just as I have loved you. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
No one has greater love than a person who lays down his life for his friends. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
You are my friends, if you do what I command you. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command.
I no longer call you slaves, because a slave doesn't know what his master is about; but I have called you friends, because everything I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
You did not choose me, I chose you; and I have commissioned you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last; so that whatever you ask from the Father in my name he may give you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.
This is what I command you: keep loving each other! 17 This is my command: Love each other.
"If the world hates you, understand that it hated me first. 18 "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
If you belonged to the world, the world would have loved its own. But because you do not belong to the world -- on the contrary, I have picked you out of the world -- therefore the world hates you. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
Remember what I told you, `A slave is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you too; if they kept my word, they will keep yours too. 20 Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.
But they will do all this to you on my account, because they don't know the One who sent me. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me.
"If I had not come and spoken to them, they wouldn't be guilty of sin; but now, they have no excuse for their sin. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.
Whoever hates me hates my Father also. 23 He who hates me hates my Father as well.
If I had not done in their presence works which no one else ever did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now, they have seen them and have hated both me and my Father. 24 If I had not done among them what no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet they have hated both me and my Father.
But this has happened in order to fulfill the words in their Torah which read, `They hated me for no reason at all.' 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: 'They hated me without reason.'
"When the Counselor comes, whom I will send you from the Father -- the Spirit of Truth, who keeps going out from the Father -- he will testify on my behalf. 26 "When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.
And you testify too, because you have been with me from the outset. 27 And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.

The scriptures above, explains the concerns that Jesus had that some might lose their Salvation. Notice in verses 4-6 the term IF and REMAIN,,, These verses make it CLEAR that those that do NOT REMAIN, are "BURNED" Again I ask... Does this sound like "Once Saved, Always Saved? ~Pastor Mark~
