Death is perhaps one of the hardest human emotional feeling we have. The Human aspect of Jesus Christ wept when Lazarus died. (Then His Spiritual aspect "woke" Lazarus up) (Scripture posted below)
I have added a poem to this post, that some of you may have already read from this web site. I have re-posted it here, for the "Newer" members that are going through a hard time dealing with the death of loved ones. Blaming God for their pain is not the answer. God is the answer to their pain!
I wrote this poem thirty-three years ago, and there are verses that have double meanings to them. So after reading it, slowly read it again.

Death is leaving your environment,
With no way to ever return.
If it is anything more than that,
It is left up to us to learn.
But when I was born, I left a world,
I'll never see again.
So when I die, am I really dead,
Or was I born again?
This question of comfort, we must ask ourselves,
When we long for our departed.
"If you were there, the day this person was born,
Would you have smiled or been broken hearted?"
When I was born, my mother held me,
And she protected me from life's harms.
But I look forward to my "rebirth",
And being in Our Fathers arms!
As As Christians, we KNOW we are going to Heaven. We KNOW we will be with our Heavenly Father. We KNOW that Christ will greet us with open arms! Yet we cry for our loved ones because we miss them so much. We must remember they lived their life just so they could join Our Father! Everyone here has a purpose for being here. When that purpose is completed, then we will be allowed to join Our Father.
My family knows for all practical purposes, I should not be here. As an infant, I had spinal meningitis. My mother was told I was going to (A) Be severely retarded (B) Be a vegetable or (C) Die. I was packed in ice to break a 3 day temperature of 105. Lucky for me, God still had plans for me here! When I was 22 years old I was shot four times with a .45 caliber pistol. One bullet went through my right shoulder and exited my back. One bullet went through my chest and exited my back. One bullet went through my left hand and across two fingers. The fourth bullet went in my head over my right ear, and exited through the top of my head. I spent THREE DAYS in the hospital! All bullets exited my body! Lucky for me, God still had plans for me here! I am still not sure what Our Father's plans are for me here, I do know that He has blessed me more than I ever felt I deserved. I try to stay REAL in my Faith and my relationship with Our Father.
One day, Our Father will call me home. I hope anyone that knows me, has tears of joy in knowing I have won the race set for me to run! I am in my final rest, waiting for Our LORD to gather us all! And this should be the way we look at the passing of a loved one. Not as a Death, but as a Birth
(8)He will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign Lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. The Lord has spoken!
32 When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.
33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled.
34 Where have you laid him? He asked. Come and see, Lord,” they replied.
35 Jesus wept.
36 Then the Jews said, See how he loved him!”
37 But some of them said, Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?
38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance.
39 “Take away the stone,” he said. But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.
40 Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?
41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me.
42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.
43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, Lazarus, come out!
44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, Take off the grave clothes and let him go.
I truly hope this helps...
